A look at a new air/light unit with awnings, heavy rescue for Iowa, two custom pumpers and a pair of 2,000-gallon tankers.

Weis Fire & Safety Equipment built a pair of Stallion pumpers for the La Junta, CO, Fire Department on an International HV507 SFA chassis. Each has a 2,000-gallon UPF tank, Hale HPX200-H20 pump, a 2,100-gallon Zico aluminum framed portable tank, a 24-inch front bumper extension with integrated Warn M15-S 15,000 lb. heavy-duty winch and a Hannay booster reel. This Pierce pumper, with a rescue-style body, was built for the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department in Shenandoah County, VA. It is equipped with Bostrom FF seats, a 1,500-gpm Waterous pump, 750-gallon UPF water tank, 30-gallon Class A foam tank with a Husky foam system and has Whelen Pioneer LED scene lights.

The Perry, IA, Volunteer Fire Department worked with Toyne to build this heavy rescue unit on a Chevrolet Silverado MD chassis. The bolted, stainless steel body has ROM roll-up doors, a transverse front compartment, a rear winch receiver plus a 200-gallon UPF tank, Pyro HMA emperor pump and booster reel. Click here for more.

Santa Fe, TX, Fire Rescue will place this air/light unit into service built by SVI with an 18-foot aluminum body on a Spartan Metro Star LFD chassis with a 10-inch raised roof chassis. It is equipped with a Wabco SS318 compressor, dual Carefree Mirage awnings, 14-piece SCBA storage module and Command Light CL series light tower. Click here for more.

Rosenbauer built this pumper, built on their Commander 6511 chassis and powered by a Cummins 400-hp L9 engine, for the Moberly, MO, Fire Department.  It is equipped with a Darley 1,500-gpm pump, a 1,000-gallon tank, FoamPro 1600 foam system and Whelen lighting package. Click here for more
