Barrett, PA, Township Volunteer Fire Company has put in service a medium-duty rescue built by Ferrara on a Freighliner cab and chassis.

Barrett Township, PA, Volunteer Fire Company has put in service a medium-duty rescue built by Ferrara Fire Apparatus on a Freighliner cab and chassis. The unit is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It has a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, OnScene Solutions LED compartment lights, slide-out tool trays, Class 3 receiver hitches on all four sides, Warn 9,000-pound portable winch, an Onan Protec 25,000-watt generator, FRC Spectra tripod lights and LED scene lights and two Hannay electric reels plus three hydraulic reels. Other equipment includes  Command Light Knight II light tower with six Whelen Pioneer 12-volt LED lights, a four-bottle air cascade system and a Federal Signal Q2B siren.
