The department chose to replace its aging Squad 25 with a new SVI-built, walk-in-style heavy rescue body-mounted on a Spartan cab and chassis.

The South Berkeley Volunteer Fire Department of Inwood, WV, chose to replace its aging Squad 25 with a new SVI-built, walk-in-style heavy rescue body-mounted on a Spartan Gladiator LTD with a 10-inch raised-roof. The apparatus is powered by a 505 hp Cummins X15 engine, and the rig features an Onan 20,000-watt PTO generator, a 250-gpm Hale water pump, and a 300-gallon UPF poly water tank. Other features include HiViz scene lighting, a Weldon V-Mux electrical system, Whelen warning and scene lights, Hannay hose reels and OnScene Solutions cargo slides and compartment lights.
