The South Berkeley, WV, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2019 SVI heavy rescue built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis.

The South Berkeley, WV, Fire Department  has taken delivery of a 2019 SVI heavy rescue built on a Spartan Metro Star, two-door, two seat cab and chassis.It is powered by a Cummins 425-hp cab engine and an Allison 4000'EVS transmission. The unit also has firefighting capabilities with a Hale CPB4 single-stage pump and a 300-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank. Other features include a FRC Pump Boss, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, OnScene Solutions slide-out tool trays and boards, three Hannay electric reels, ROM roll-up doors, Amkus rescue tools, Vetter air bags, Warn XD9000i cable winch, a Roto-Ray, MARS lights and a Federal Signal Q2B siren.
