Bedford Hills, NY, Rescue Co. has placed in service Rescue 10 a Seagrave apparatus with a walk-in box used strictly for transportation of equipment and personnel. It is built on a Seagrave Marauder II cab and chassis with seating for eight occupants, powered by a Cummins 500-hp and an Allison transmission. It is equipped with a Will-Burt light tower, a 20,000-watt Harrison hydraulic generator, a Vanair air compressor, a Ramsey 9,000-pound rated portable winch on the rear and a 12,000-pound winch in the front. It has a collection of air bags, a tool box, roll-out tool boards and draws and assorted extrication tools. It is also equipped with a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
