Fort Morgan CO, Fire Department, a repeat customer, is replacing its 20-year-old SVI-built truck with a new heavy rescue built by SVI Trucks. The unit features an 18-foot aluminum SVI-body mounted on a 4×4 Spartan Metro Star EMRD chassis with a 10-inch raised-roof and a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine. It is equipped with a Command Light KL415D-W2 light tower, OnScene solutions heavy-duty cargo slides, a Ramsey 9,000-pound 12-volt electric winch, two Zico 1000 Series KD-UH SCBA air pack brackets, Whelen warning lights, a Kussmaul battery and air conditioner system, and a command desk with a lift-up slanted surface in the crew area.
