Middletown Township, Pa., Receives New Rescue Pumper

Firefighters with Rocky Run Volunteer Fire Company, Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pa., have taken delivery of a new pumper built by Marion Body Works on a Spartan cab and chassis.

Firefighters with Rocky Run Volunteer Fire Company, Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pa., have taken delivery of a new pumper built by Marion Body Works on a Spartan cab and chassis. It's powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale 1,750-gpm pump and a Hypro FoamPro 2002 foam system with a 40-gallon integrated foam tank.

It's also equipped with a Kussmaul auto-eject battery and air line connection, LED compartment lighting, slide-out tool trays, saws, fans, tarps and forcible entry tools. Additionally, it has a Harrison 10,000-watt generator, Will-Burt Night Scan 4,500-watt telescoping light tower, a Federal Q2B mechanical siren, LED warning lights, front brow light, front suction and coffin style-compartments.
