Marlboro, NJ, Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2017 KME Predator Panther pumper.

Marlboro, NJ, Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2017 KME Predator Panther pumper.It is equipped with a four-door, six-occupant climate-controlled cab, with a raised roof and full height rear doors. It is powered by a 450 hp Cummins ISL diesel engine and an Allison 3000EVS-P automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX175-21L single-stage pump, a 1,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, Hypro FoamPro system with 25 gallon Class A and 50 gallon Class B foam tanks, InControl 400 pressure governor, Trident Air Prime, and front suction and discharge. Other equipment includes a front twin FRC LED brow lights, FRC LED scene lighting, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, and LED compartment lighting. It also has slide-out tool trays and boards a refrigerator, 6,000-watt Onan generator, rear Amdor shutter, rear-facing camera, Hannay electric reel, booster hose reel, ladder tunnel, saws, fans, tarps, forcible entry tools, and a Federal Q2B mechanical siren.
