The Fertile Fire Department worked with CustomFIRE to design this top-mount, enclosed pump panel pumper.
The rig is built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis and is powered by a 360-hp Cummins L9 engine with an Allison 3000 EVS transmission.
The rig has a CustomFIRE Full Response Crew Cab featuring rear- and forward-facing SCBA seats and a full pump control panel.
The aluminum body has concealed bolted construction, a stainless steel subframe and roll-up compartment doors. It has a pull-out compartment tray, wheel well storage and slide-in storage for ladders and suction hose.
Fire suppression includes a 1,250-gpm Waterous CSPA pump, a 1,000-gallon UPF poly water tank, a 20-gallon foam cell and a FoamPro 1600 single agent foam system. The pump includes a Trident Air Prime pump primer and Fire Research Pump Boss pressure governor.
A Whelen LED lightbar, electronic siren, warning lights and traffic directional board are among the rig's emergency warning equipment. It is outfitted with under cab and body lights and both Whelen brow and scene lights that are LED.
