Ellendale, DE, Volunteer Fire Company has put in service a 2018 Spartan Emergency Response pumper in service.

Ellendale, DE, Volunteer Fire Company has put in service a 2018 Spartan Emergency Response pumper in service. It is built on a Spartan Metro Star EMFD flat roof cab and chassis with seating for six in the climate controlled cab. It is powered by a Cummins 450 L9 engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It is equipped with a Hale QFlo Plus 125-23-X 1,250-gpm pump, a Fire Research Corp Pump Boss controller, a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III with a 30-gallon Class A foam cell. It also has a Feecon APH 1.5 1,400-gpm foam system, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Fire Research Corp. scene lights, Hurst hydraulic tools, Zico swing down ladder arm, and Whelen warning lights.
