The Hammonton, NJ, Volunteer Fire Company No.2, in Atlantic County, has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Enforcer pumper. The $611,000 engine has a four-door, climate controlled cab with a raised roof and full-height rear doors. It is powered by 425-hp Cummins diesel engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU C20D, single-stage pump, a 1,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, a top-mounted pump panel, an Akron foam system and a Trident air prime system. Other features and equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject battery and air conditioner, Gortite roll-up doors, Hannay electric reels, a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, and a Whelen Power Call siren.
