Penfield, PA, Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2019 tanker-pumper built by Rosenbauer on a Freightliner severe duty cab and chassis. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 450-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 3,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III, a Darley PSM 750-gpm single-stage pump, a Hypro Foam Pro 2001 foam system with a 30-gallon tank, a InControl 300 Fire Research Corp. pressure governor, and a rear Newton 10-inch dump valve and chute. Other features includes 911 seats, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Whelen LED scene and warning lights, and a Zico electric portable tank lift.
