The Lake Shore, MD, Volunteer Fire Department, in Anne Arundel County, has taken delivery of a 2019 KME Predator pumper.

The Lake Shore, MD, Volunteer Fire Department, in Anne Arundel County, has taken delivery of a 2019 KME Predator pumper. It is built on a four-door 100-inch cab and chassis with seating for six and a 10-inch raised roof, full-height rear doors, and climate control. It is powered by a Cummins ISX12 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMX-XS single-stage pump, a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank and a Trident air primer system. It is also equipped with an Onan 10,000-watt hydraulic generator, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Amdor roll-up doors, a Will-Burt NightScan light tower, Hannay reels, Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren and electronic siren.
