A veteran Toronto firefighter was charged with careless driving after he the apparatus he was driving struck an 11-year-old girl.
The truck was responding to an emergency on Dec. 16 with its emergency warning equipment on when they struck the girl who was crossing the street in the crosswalk.
The girl was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
