St. Petersburg, FL, Teen Hurt in Social Media Challenge

St. Petersburg fire officials are issuing a warning about the 'Jam Jar Pulse Jet' trend.

The "Jam Jar Pulse Jet" Trend is a dangerous TikTok challenge that experts are warning against. 

St. Petersburg Division Chief Ian Womack issued the warning after a 14-year-old was injured.

The youth's parents heard the noise and put the fire out quickly, Fox 13 reported.

Womack said the challenge is very dangerous that can lead to serious burns and cause fires.
