Sprinkler Douses Flames in Lambeau Field Locker Room
A sprinker quickly doused a fire in a locker room at Lambeau Field.
There was nothing evident when Green Bay Metro firefighters approached the stadium Tuesday afternoon.
“Engine 6, along with Ashwaubenon, were the two initial responders, and they were able to put out small parts of the fire with extinguishers. The key thing is that the sprinkler system worked as it should,” Ltl Shauna Walesh told WFRV.
The fire was contained to a locker room which is not used by the Packers or visiting teams.
The cause is under investigation.
