Two Die In D.C. Fire, Two Firefighters Injured

A raging fire that prompted firefighters to retreat for an exterior attack has killed two people in Washington, D.C. and reportedly injured two firefighters battling the blaze.

Two people have died in a apartment building fire in Washington, D.C. and two firefighters were reportedly injured during the battle.

According to a report published by WUSA, one firefighter broke a leg and another suffered a shoulder injury.

Firefighters encountered heavy fire when they responded to the blaze on R Street SE on Tuesday morning. During the battle, firefighters were ordered out of the building and an exterior attack was launched, according to WUSA.
