Smoke at National Fire Academy Investigated

The smoke was traced to an air conditioning unit.

Firefighters are investigating smoke conditions in a building at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg.

The chief of the Vigilant Hose Company reported smoke showing from Building H.

Interior crews also advised there was a haze on the second floor.

There were no reports of injuries. 

 Crews later traced the source to a compressor on an air conditioner.
