A fire in the Shenango Township home that claimed the men appears to have been fueled by flammable liquid.

Three brothers, all in their 50s and mentally disabled, were found dead in their western PA home after a fire that appears to have been fueled by flammable liquid erupted in several spots.

According to Foxnews.com, the fire was reported in their Shenango Township home at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday and Pennsylvania State Police are considering the deaths of Daniel, Robert and Richard Fombell as homicides. The network news report also said authorities are not sure if one or more of the brothers may have started the fire. The three brothers lived alone in the home and their bodies were found in a remote part of the basement but not burned.

State police and the Lawrence County coroner are investigating the case.
