FDNY: Carbon Monoxide Sickens 12

The Bronx residents were transported to hospitals Wednesday morning.

About a dozen people have been hospitalized after a carbon monoxide incident in the Bronx Wednesday morning. 

The FDNY told CBS they said they found the ill patients when they responded to the carbon monoxide alarm at 6:45 a.m. at East 180th Street and Mapes Avenue. 

There was no word on what caused the leak.
