This one of kind hands-on interactive course provides firefighters and officers the most
comprehensive up to date training involving rope searches when rescuing civilians and
distressed firefighters. This all encompassing hands-on training will provide you and your
department the confidence in establishing search rope procedures and their rescues. The
course covers all areas of large area searches such as proper rope bag systems, tether
searches, interior and exterior anchoring, thermal imaging, team searches, minimum manning
searches, air management, sectoring structures and accountability, large area RIT
deployments as well as civilian and distressed firefighter retrievals involving deployed search
