DALLAS --
Police said a Dallas fire truck was attacked by a teen after responding to a drive-by shooting call Monday morning.
Police said the fire truck responded to the call with an ambulance in the 1500 block of Adelaide Drive when a 16-year-old began pounding on on it. The teen then threw a five-pound weight at the windshield, according to police.
Police quickly arrested the teen, who was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. A firefighter said the teen had to be restrained during treatment.
Police said no shooting victim was found.
No injuries were reported.
