Maryland Townhouse Destroyed by Flames

OWINGS MILLS, Md. --

Baltimore County firefighters are back at the scene of an overnight fire that heavily damaged a townhouse in Owings Mills.

The two-alarm fire was reported about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the first block of Rachel Court in the Owings Ridge neighborhood. Firefighters cleared the scene about 4:30 a.m., but returned about an hour later when the fire rekindled.

Fire officials said the initial blaze started on the second floor and spread through the roof. The residents were not home at the time and no one was injured.
