BOULDER, Colo. --

Two volunteer firefighters were injured early Monday, while fighting a house fire in the 8400 block of North Foothills Highway.

The first call came in at 3:50 a.m., and 45 firefighters were dispatched to battle the blaze in the two-level home.

All four of the home's occupants got out safely, but one firefighter, from Lefthand Fire, suffered a head injury and another sustained minor smoke inhalation while fighting the fire.

Fire damaged about 30 to 40 percent of home, mainly the garage, living room and kitchen.
