A 9-year-old Tipton boy was taken to a hospital after rescuers pulled him out of a container for stones at a Tipton-area concrete plant Monday afternoon, 6News reported.
The boy was trapped for about 30 minutes in the Irving Materials Inc. container, which is 7 feet tall and had an auger at the bottom. He was pulled from the top of the bin shortly before 1 p.m.
A helicopter took the boy to Indianapolis' Methodist Hospital with what were thought to be injuries to his shins, 6News reported.
The boy was with two other boys when he became trapped, 6News reported.
