D.C. Fire Department Investigates Fire Marshal

The person under investigation is on administrative leave.

The D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department is investigating allegations of misconduct by someone in the fire prevention division, according to a statement released on Friday.

The department is cooperating with the D.C. Office of the Inspector General and won't discuss the details of the investigation until it is complete.
