Firefighting Trainees Get Real With Hands-On Techniques

More than 60 firefighters from 11 counties participated in the training, which was set up like a real wildland fire camp, complete with financial officers and a small tent city. The firefighters spent time with DNRC "coaches" and went through exercises ranging from taking care of a person with mock injuries to fighting small but very real fires.
