Ex-N.C. FF Accused of Station Break
LEXINGTON, N.C. --
A former volunteer firefighter was arrested and charged in connection with a break-in at his former station, Davidson County deputies said Monday.
Deputies said they began their investigation Aug. 4 at the West Lexington Fire Department after the break-in was reported.
Anthony James Strickland, 23, of Lexington, was later charged with breaking and entering and larceny.
He was being held on a $25,000 bond.
Deputies didn't say when Strickland worked at the station.
