The fire chief of Cannonsburg and his wife have been dismissed from the town's fire department after they were found guilty of official misconduct.
The board of trustees of the Cannonsburg Fire Protection District found that Steve Clevenger and his wife, Angie, had misspent more than eight-thousand dollars from the department's vending machine fund.
Angie Clevenger was the department's secretary and fire-prevention officer.
Cannonsburg is near Ashland in Boyd County.
