When Varone was head of NFPA's Public Fire Protection Division, he was able to travel around the world to get a global perspective on the fire service culture.  From firefighter safety and fire prevention to LODDs and command styles, Varone provides interesting discussion. 

The two also discuss the potential for future lawsuits against home builders in the wake of fire deaths in homes with new construction.
