Southern Stone Fire Protection District crews worked to save a home when an Oct. 12. fire engulfed a barn.
Fire crews were called to Old Highway 160 in Reeds Spring around 2:30 p.m. and found a large metal building fully involved.
Crews protected the residence next door, which sustained minor exterior damage. Several pieces of equipment were lost and several vehicles were damaged.
Tankers shuttled 22,000 gallons of water from downtown Reeds Spring to the scene.
Highlandville fire crews were called in to assist.
