A Virginia firefighter who was injured by falling debris continued battling a two-alarm fire that broke out at a condominium building early Wednesday.
Time-lapse video from the Virginia Beach condo complex shows flames erupting from three-story building just before 5:30 a.m., WVEC-TV reports. At least 14 residents were displaced from the blaze.
While working to put out the flames, one firefighter was struck by debris outside the condo building. The firefighter refused to go to the hospital and was treated at the scene before going back to help extinguish the blaze, the department said in an online update.
Two residents suffered minor burns on their feet, WVEC added.
