Three FDNY firefighters were among four injured during a three-alarm fire Thursday night.

Crews responded to a call about a fire at a dwelling in Queens, the department stated in an online update. But when they arrived at the scene, they found flames had spread to a second residential structure.

Firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions at both buildings, and they extended four handlines to battle the flames. Crews eventually were able to get the fire under control and extinguished.

Three firefighters suffered minor injuries during the call, but no details were given about the extent of those injuries and if the firefighters were hospitalized. A civilian also suffered minor injuries in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
