Two children were in critical condition after they were rescued by Ohio firefighters from a house fire early Friday.
Liberty Fire Department crews responded to the call at a multi-family home, WKBN-TV reports. Firefighters pulled two children from the burning structure, and they were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Crews from multiple departments—including Girard, Hubbard, Youngstown and others—helped battle the fire, which proved challenging. Flames could be seen shooting from the roof throughout the response.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
