Maui firefighters found a large catamaran fully involved in fire early Thursday.
They confirmed no one was aboard, Maui Now reported.
Crews worked on fire control and protecting other vessels in the area.
Damages to the vessel are estimated at $8,000, according to Maui fire officials wrote on the department's Facebook page.
The Department of Land and Natural Resources is investigating.
