At Least One Dead in East St. Louis, IL, House Fire

A woman who jumped from the second-floor of the house told firefighters a man was trapped inside.

At least one person died in a St. Louis house fire early Friday.

Neighbors said they were told by a woman who jumped out a window that there was still a man inside, according to Fox2 news.

Firefighters remain at the scene late Friday morning dousing hotspots and assisting with the probe. 

Neighbors said squatters often stayed at the vacant home.
