Crews from Clackamas Fire Dist. #1 extricated a driver from a Milwaukie crash on Oct. 20.
The car left the road and struck a tree, coming to rest near an apartment building.
Clackamas firefighters found one victim trapped who was conscious and suffering a head injury. The first engine called for a truck company along with the heavy rescue since the patient needed to be extricated from the car.
Using hydraulic tools, fire crews took approximately 20 minutes to extricate the victim.
