MILWAUKEE --
Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash involving a car and a Bell ambulance in downtown Milwaukee.
Milwaukee police said the car struck the ambulance, which was transporting a patient, at Jackson Street and Wisconsin Avenue just before 10:00 p.m. Friday.
Two people in the car were transported to Froedert Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters initially told 12 News that the patient had to be extricated from the ambulance. They said that the patient and a paramedic were both taken to an area hospital.
No other information about the crash has been released.
