Polser Introduces Antimicrobial Walls for Mobile Trailers and Clinics

April 9, 2020
Polser USA has announce a new product with its antimicrobial (AMB) technology for interior wall surfaces in heavy use during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Polser USA is proud to announce a new product option: Polser antimicrobial (AMB) technology for interior wall surfaces.

The AMB material is like a microscopic bed of nails made from carbon nano-needles that pierce and kill over 100 known bacteria and viruses. This brings a broad spectrum of antimicrobial properties via a permanent, engineered-in coating that is non-leaching. It needs no added chemicals and is food service safe. It also never degrades, as the nano-needles are unharmed by killing pathogens.

The material can be applied to various Polser products, from flat FRP sheets to composite plinths for a full mounting solution. It is both EPA registered and FDA approved. “Composite FRP is already prized for high durability and is easy to clean. Now we can offer the added ability to kill 99.999% of surface bacteria within 3 hours. Polser’s AMB technology is ready for the most demanding sanitation needs,” said Greg Glanders, president of Polser USA.

Polser USA’s AMB product is currently being considered for use in mobile medical trailers transporting EZ-Up tents along with critical supplies for Covid19 clinics by Bravo Trailers in Bristol, IN. More than just a storage and transport vehicle, these trailers will also be re-purposed on-site as another shelter for personnel. Polser’s antimicrobial walls will expand their use for more purposes and help maintain sanitation.

“We already trust Polser’s FRP products for exterior sidewalls, and the timing on this new interior wall antimicrobial product is incredible,” said Mitch Bender, president of Bravo Trailers. “Mobile medical trailers are ideal for disaster relief. They add drop-and-go delivery plus long-term on-site storage and shelter.”

Other possible uses for Polser AMB technology include:

  • Hospitals, outpatient clinics, and other medical facilities
  • Operation rooms, intensive care units, laboratories
  • Mobile health clinics
  • Food production and processing plants
  • Dairy farms, poultry houses, slaughterhouses
  • Disease-free farms
  • Veterinarian clinics
  • Clean rooms
  • Mobile restrooms
  • Recreational vehicle bathrooms
