Nova Chemical Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, has taken delivery of an industrial foam pumper built by Pierce on a 2016 Pierce Arrow XT cab and chassis with Tac4 independent suspension. It is powered by Detroit Diesel DD-13 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire it has a Husky foam system, two Elkhart monitors, an Akron monitor, a Fire Research Corp pump boss, a RAM attack monitor in the front bumper with preconnected 2.5-inch lines. It also has a Darley 3,000-gpm pump and a 1,000-gallon foam tank.
