Eden, NC, Rescue Squad Takes Delivery of New Heavy Rescue Unit

Eden, NC, Rescue Squad, in Rockingham County, has taken delivery of a 2018 heavy rescue squad, built on a Freightliner M2-106 cab and chassis by Hackney Emergency Vehicles.

The Eden, NC,  Rescue Squad, inRockingham County, has taken delivery of a 2018 Hackney Emergency Vehicles heavy rescue built on a Freighliner M2-106 two-door cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 330 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS. It is equipped with a Command Light tower, Harrison 20,000-watt hydraulic generator, cribbing, low-pressure air bags, an Emglo 7.9 CFM air compressor, and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren. Other equipment includes a Warn cable winch, Hurst extrication tools and a variety of cribbing, A-Frame ladders, rear-facing cameras, water and rope rescue gear. it was sold through VT Hackney, INC., Washington, NC. The salesman was Neal Dixon.
