Susquehanna, Md., Hose Company Puts Engine 514 In Service

Engine 514, a Pierce custom pumper, was put in service by the firefighters with Susquehanna Hose Company in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Engine 514, a Pierce custom pumper, was put in service by the firefighters with Susquehanna Hose Company in Havre de Grace, Maryland. The new pumper features Pierce's Command Zone, Control Zone, hands-free SCBA brackets, side roll protection, TAK-4 independent front suspension, and VLH self-venting pump caps.

Other features include a Pierce Husky foam system, a 750-gallon water taken and a 1,500-gpm pump. It also has a low hose bed height and all discharges to the rear of the apparatus.

It was sold by Atlantic Emergency Solutions, Manassas Va.
