Fox Lake Fire Protection District, Ingleside, IL, has taken delivery of an Alexis Fire Equipment Co. custom pumper with an enclosed, top-mount pump panel.

Fox Lake Fire Protection District, Ingleside, IL, has taken delivery of an Alexis Fire Equipment Co. custom pumper with an enclosed, top-mount pump panel. The stainless steel apparatus is built on a Spartan Metro Star MFD cab and chassis with a 20-inch raised roof. It is powered by a Cummins ISL9 450 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Qmax-150 1,500-gpm, single-stage pump with an enclosed panel. It is also equipped with a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank, a four-bottle 4,500 psi cascade system, and a Smart Power HR-10 10,000-watt hydraulic generator. It also has a Will-Burt NightScan light tower with Whelen LED lights, R.O.M. roll-up doors and Whelen LED emergency warning lights.
