Garfield, NJ, Fire Department took delivery of a Ferrara MVP rescue pumper built on an Igniter custom chassis.

Garfield, NJ, Fire Department took delivery of a Ferrara MVP rescue pumper built on an Igniter custom chassis featuring an 8-inch raised roof cab with seating for seven and tool mounting boards. It is powered by a Cummins ISL9 450-HP engine and Allison 3000 EVS transmission. The extruded aluminum MVP rescue body houses a Hale QMAX 2,000-gpmpump, TFT Hurricane deck gun, 750-gallon water tank, chain saw storage module, ladder storage, booster reel, rooftop compartments and substantial space for rescue equipment. It also has a Will-Burt light tower and a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator.
