South Branch Township, MI, Fire Department has recently taken delivery of an all-new custom HME Ahrens Fox rescue pumper.

South Branch Township, MI, Fire Department  has recently taken delivery of an all-new custom HME Ahrens Fox rescue pumper. Built on a HME 1871W Custom Chassis, with polished aluminum wheels. The truck is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 370-hp engine with an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Q-Max 1,500-gpm pump, a 1,020-gallon UPF tank and a Hale FoamLogix 30-gallon Class A foam system. The truck also features a 320-Amp Leece Neville alternator, interior LED dome light packages and compartment LED strip light packages, a cab roof mounted Whelen Freedom 72-inch  light bar system, FRC 20,000 lumens quartz flood lighting, and a 20,000 lumens brow light. The stainless-steel body has 160 cubic feet of compartment storage with adjustable shelving throughout, and 80 cubic feet of hosebed space available.
