Kewanee, IL, Fire Department has recently taken delivery of an all-new custom HME Ahrens Fox rescue pumper.

Kewanee, IL, Fire Department has recently taken delivery of an all-new custom HME Ahrens Fox rescue pumper. Built on an HME 1871 W custom chassis, with aluminum wheels. The truck is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 370 hp with an Allison 3000EVS transmission. The truck also features a 320-Amp Leece Neville alternator, LED strip light interior light packages and LED compartment packages, a cab roof mounted Whelen Freedom 72-inch light bar system, front left and right 20,000 lumens quartz flood lighting. The stainless-steel body has 221 cubic feet of compartment storage with adjustable shelving throughout, and 72 cubic feet of hosebed space available; all placed on a painted double frame rail chassis 12-month warranty. It also has a Hale 1,250-gpm Q-Flo Plus pump and a UPF 794-gallon tank.
