Firefighters with Stillwater, MN, Fire Department have taken delivery of a Custom Fire Apparatus pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis.

Firefighters with Stillwater, MN, Fire Department have taken delivery of a Custom Fire Apparatus pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp L9 cab and chassis with an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It has a concealed-bolted construction stainless steel body with roll-up doors. To fight fire, it has a Waterous C20 1,250-gpm pump, a FoamPro 2001 single-agent foam system, a Fire Research PumpBoss pressure governor, and a 500-gallon water tank with a 30-gallon foam cell. Other equipment includes Harrison 6,000-watt hydraulic generator, Federal Signal sirens, and Whelen warning, scene and DOT lights.
