West Orange, NJ, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Enforcer pumper with a flat roof and seating for five.

West Orange, NJ, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Enforcer pumper with a flat roof and seating for five. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 13 525-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 1,500-gpm pump and a 500-gallon polypropylene tank that is described as a "New York-style" shape providing for a low rear hose bed. Other equipment includes a 19-inch extended front bumper with a tray that holds up to 150-feet fo 1.75-inch hose with a front discharge gate. Other equipment includes swing-out tool boards, roll-out trays, ground ladders stored in the hose bed compartment, Akron monitor and fender compartments for air bottles.
