    Gilbert, AZ, Fire & Rescue has taken delivery of Engine 255, a Pierce Quantum pumper. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel engine and an Allison transmission. It is equipped with a 500-gallon water tank with a 30-gallon foam cell, a hydraulic ladder rack, cross lays, a front bumper line and an auxilary RV-style air conditioning unit for pre-cooling when plugged into a shoreline.
