Black Forest, CO, Fire Rescue Gets 4x4 Rescue-Pumper

Black Forest, CO Fire Rescue has taken delivery of a rescue-pumper built by SVI Trucks on a Spartan cab and chassis. The Metro Star cab and chassis is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. For incident responses, it has a 12-foot aluminum SVI body, a Waterous CU 1,500-gpm pump, a 750-gallon polypropolyene tank and a FoamPro 1600 foam system. It also has pump and roll capabilities and a Fire Research PumpBoss pump control. Other equipment includes a Command Light Knight 2 KL Series Light Tower, Whelen warnng lights and OnScene Solutions LED compartment lights.
